A2 Media | My Plan

I have made a plan which I am going to stick to in order to complete shots for my music video. My actor and I have discussed through messaging services when he and I are available as well as other important things such as clothing, lip syncing and acting. Here are some of the crucial details about my plan;

Actor 1
Because of a lack of actors, and my media class is also very busy with their projects I have put myself forward for the first actor. It is important that whilst I am an actor, I am also directing the camera and everything else that makes up the scene

Actor 2
My second actor is my friend Matthew who was very eager to get involved and help me in my project. He is who I spoke about my plan with.

Locations
The locations I have picked are;

• The beach in my area; I want to complete shots of the water and scenery to accompany my song
• A plain white background for performance shots
• Shots along the "prom" area by the seaside

Shots

• Performance shot of Actor one
• Performance shot of Actor two
• Scenery Shot of the beach and the seaside
• A variety of other shots which would accompany my style of song for example; a shot of Matthew smoking a cigarette - promoting relaxation and rebelliousness. 

A2 Media | Analysing My Style Model

So that my music video looks as professional as possible, I'm and going to closely analyse the music video I have chosen for my style model "Bruce Lee". I intend to copy several types of shots, for example; In the beginning of the music video, there is a shot where it pans from the sky to the actor. I believe this shot will be easy to recreate and will look very good for the video.

Vice versa, there are elements of the video which I may not include for some reasons. For example, If a certain shot proves difficult to recreate, I may scrap it entirely. Maybe it doesn't match the overall setting I am able to use, so again I'll scrap it.

It is very important that I adapt the music video to the resources & skills that I have available, otherwise the overall result of the video will be lacking quality.
